We're home. Elijah had a pretty uneventful last few hours, dozing off and on and waking up enough to eat some food. He's upstairs now with Mommy sleeping in "MommyDaddy bed."
Dr. G. stopped by one more time to check in, he'll present Elijah case next Thursday to the surgeons and other cardiologists. From their input he'll be able to give a better estimate of when the next big surgery will be.

Good to know you're home! I hope the surgeons make the best decision in timing the next plans for Elijah.
Oh my goodness. So sad to hear that the hospital experience was traumatic for sweet boy =(
My heart hurts to think about it too, but glad you guys are home tonight.

I hate that Elijah had a rough time before and after his cath. I felt exactly the same way after Luke's cath this summer. The two hours coming out of anesthesia were brutal and I hated it. I'm just so thankful you are all home and he's doing okay! Love you guys!
