Exhausted

We are waiting for Elijah to fall asleep right now, he's tired but he keep playing with the cords in his crib.

Without oxygen he's satting at about 52%, we are trying to keep him up closer to 60% with oxygen but it hasn't been easy. He has been amazing (not in a good way) the Dr. and nurses by how low his oxygen has been dropping because he looks so good.

Dr. Wright wants to watch him through the night and then tomorrow he'll hopefully be able to talk to Dr. Moga and Dr. Gremmels and come up with a new plan. We were not liking the thought of Dr. Gremmels being out all week but it turns out he'll be back in town on Monday and back at the hospital on Tuesday.

That's about all we know right now, we're anticipating the surgery being moved up to this week. We'll be sure to update as we find out what's going on.

Thanks again for all your prayers and support.

I am so glad that you have him where he can get his good care. I am also relieved that Dr. G will be back at the hospital on Tuesday! That will help ease your mind just a little bit more. Our prayers are with you all!

Lots of love,
Samantha

Thinking of you and hoping that a plan can be made that will ease your mind and help Elijah feel better.

Oh, boy, wow. That's all I can say, is wow. You guys are amazing (in a good way!) even though Elijah is amazing (not in a good way). Try to get some rest, and know that lots of people are thinking about you and praying for you.

Take care, and we'll be checking in.

Hello, my name is Jasmin. I am the mother of 4-month old Leah. She has TOF with Pulmonary Stenosis and MAPCAs (No OHS yet). I've been reading your blog for the past three months. Your son, Elijah, and family have been in my thoughts and prayers throughout these three months. I will be praying harder for Elijah, mom and dad as well as the doctors and medical staff that will be taking care of Elijah. May God bring you peace during this difficult time. May Elijah's heart be repaired without any complications and that his recovery be quick. God Bless.

By the the way, I have a 2-year old son, named Noah who was born on February 20th like Elijah.

Oh my gosh...I just checked on you guys around lunchtime...no update.. and now look how much has gone on! It sounds like a good idea to be at the hospital and have Eli watched all the time. I don't know a ton about sats, but I do know that sounds scary low to be dealing with at home! How wonderful that your surgeon will be back sooner than you thought! Big prayers for the little man to keep hanging in there until at least Tuesday! God is watching out for you guys! I am praying hard for all of you and hoping you all get some rest! (even though the hospital is not exactly conducive to rest, hopefully it will help to know he's in great hands!)

Take care of yourselves!!

I thought that I gave Elijah strick orders to rest up at HOME before surgery...not to try and push it forward!! (I don't think he had his listening ears on Megan!!)
I can't believe you guys are in the hospital...but, I feel better with you guys there..having all the docs on call if they are needed (I know you feel better too)...as you are TRYING to get some type of sleep tonight.
PLEASE...PLEASE take care of yourselves throughout all of this. Love each other, love on Elijah...and rest and EAT! (Now is the time to put on an extra 10...it'll make you feel better!)
We love you guys...and please know that we're here if you need us!
Smooch on those neck rolls for me.

To my surprise I hadn't been able to check on you guys for the past 2 days and I read that your in the hospital. I know nobody likes to be in the hospital but I'm so happy that you are there. I was getting really worried about him and feel so much better that he is being watched and getting O2. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I can't wait for all of this to be behind you guys and have a healthy little man. Give him a big hug and kiss from us and tell him to behave until Dr. G gets back!

Heart Hugs,

Vanessa
