Remember the hot weather I have been talking about? Well, today was even hotter than the hottest hot. It was GROSS hot, and that is saying a lot coming from me. So the boys and I visited a good friend and spent the day inside!
We were all fine with that. The cool air felt good, and the company was wonderful.

And this is a scene I encountered this morning before we left home. Sammy was so cute, wanting to snuggle up close to Elijah while they read books in the loft. I love that so much.
We had another great potty day today. We had no accidents and a huge success tonight. Elijah earned a movie theater date with Mama today! We are both so excited for that!!
The park we went to yesterday that someone asked about is called Hyland Park Reserve. It is enormous, and so much fun. There are even misters for the kids (and parents!) to run through on hot days.
Please say a prayer for our very good friends Kendis and Chris, as they lost their home to a nasty Minnesota storm a few nights ago. We feel terribly for them! Please keep them in your prayers.
