Quick update

Elijah has been sleeping peacefully since about 6:30 or so. Our night nurse told us that he saw FOUR written orders NOT TO WAKE ELIJAH UP FOR ANYTHING. This is music to our ears. His sats have been running consistently above the 60s since he's been asleep and this is great news. Dan and I had a hospital date night tonight and we got authentic Mexican food and watched a movie on our laptop. Fun!! Now we are headed to bed on the two-foot couch we get to sleep on. Please continue to pray for our sweet boy. We might be here a while and we all need courage and rest. Thank you!

ps. Dan here, just thought you should know that Megan is soooo hot in scrubs!!!

Dan & Megan

What a week you have had...I'm so sorry you have been in and out of the hospital. I kept thinking of you all week...hoping things were going smoothly. Obviously...they haven't been as smooth as desired...but I was so glad to see his smiling photos...and the few nights at home.

I know it's not where you want to spend the last few days before surgery...but there must be peace being close with his sats all over the place.

You guys are so strong...so amazing...such wonderful parents to Elijah. I'll be praying hard for a smooth weekend...and no re-scheduling of surgery.

Eli - you shape up right now!! Give your Mommy and Daddy a break.

Take care of yourselves. I am so happy that you enjoyed date night. Hey - we have to find the positives, right?

Lots of prayers for the little stinker!

Jen

Yea for sats in the 60's...never really thought I would here myself say that, but then again, Eli is just special. I am thinking of you guys all the time...hang in there...you are in great hands, and I am sure when you see the Mpoga smile tomorrow, all will be much better.

Lots of love,
Samantha

Oh bummer! Elijah is giving you so much trouble! I'm sorry you guys are in the hospital again, but I hope it gives you some security knowing that he's safe there. I'm glad they are going to let you guys get some rest tonight. I'll keep praying for you and will check on you all tomorrow.

You know we're worried sick about you guys...how is everything today??
It's taking all I've got not to call your cell...I know you have to nap when you can...
We hope they're taking good care of Mr. Elijah...and he's getting some rest.
